Doc Walker Trumps Big Names At Music Awards

Doc Walker scored two major wins at the WCMA Awards held Sunday, October 3rd in Calgary.

The band was crowned 2004 WCMA 'Entertainer of the Year' This was the only FAN voted award of the evening.

Sarah McLachlan, Nelly Furtado, Nickelback & Michael Buble were the other nominees. Doc Walker also won for 'Outstanding Country Recording' .

The Western Canadian Music Awards, were held in Calgary at the Jack Singer Concert Hall.
