REMEMBERING was Stewart Fay's debut, released in 2003, a four-song EP that only touched the surface of his songwriting abilities. From the Tex-Mex, road-weary feel of "Me and Silverado", to the beautiful folk ballads, "Sometime Soon" and "Even For A While", to the rockabilly "The Other Side", this collection of tunes showcased Stew's feel for songs that touch common ground with his audiences. Recorded at Dan Donahue's studios, Stew brought together his long time friends and band mates in "Doug's Reliable Cars" to put together a tight showcase of musicianship and vocal artistry. The song, "Even For A While" has received critical acclaim for its stark and sometimes frightening look at Alzheimer's and senile dementia from the standpoint of the victim.
